It is a short half-day walk to get to the essence of the spirit of the place. It is one of the quietest corners where omnipresent nature reigns, as if out of time.
The boat is made at the nautical stop of Tursac.
To begin with, numerous cluzeaux and the Château de Marzac camouflaged on its rocky peak.
After the cingle where the cliff almost engulfs you, you arrive at the Madeleine, a troglodyte village with its castle. A few paddles away is “the End of the World” where you can navigate under the majestic “7 brothers cliff”!
Finally, the magnificent last straight line of Les Eyzies, where the prehistoric sites of Laugerie, the Grand Roc cave, the Hell Gorge and the Fort de Tayac perched in the rock perch.
